There’s nothing like a real roaring wood fire. And wood-burning fireplaces are very close to the heart of FMI. Not just because we started out building wood-burners over 25 years ago, but also because our goal in developing any fireplace is to recreate the ambiance of a wood fire in a good old fashioned masonry built fireplace.

FMI Vent Free Gas Fireplaces

The Colonial represents the vent free category for the Renaissance Fireplace Series. These gas fireplaces share all the features, accessories, quality construction and the solid feel of our woodburning models. Either clean faced or stamped steel louvered panels are standard except on the 50”.

FMI Direct Vent Gas Fireplaces

FMI’s new direct vent gas fireplaces feature beautiful new combination split oak ceramic fiber gas logs, multi-tiered flame patterns and glowing ember beds. All models are full fireplace sized, heater rated, and built on the proven strengths of our
45 degree slant back design and hinged tool-less entry glass door. We’ve made all models easily fuel convertible in the field, and millivolt units feature an adjustable flame air shutter and flame control
